  1. Hi Jason,

Fifty hours a week is a massive investment of time (a 35 hour week full time job pales in comparison!). The student-led gaming group that meets on a Wednesday may offer some balance with some other gaming-related activities.

  2. Well Eddy as you can see that blog was posted about 3 weeks ago so on that date the work load wasn't as it is now. Thank you for criticising me on my answer to my question. I am well aware of the gaming societies extra gaming activities even at the date of this blog you can see that in answering the last question I attend the weekly meeting. So since then the workload at university has increased my gaming time has now decreased plus as you can see later in my blog I have spent many hours in my own time doing valuable research on relevant topics needed for my modules.

  3. Hi Jason,

I can see you are blogging prolifically, and the blog will provide you with a useful repository of the ideas you have developed, games you have worked on and responses to various readings, study-visits and other activities over the course of the year. Obviously, if you continue to make blog posts during the second and third year of the course, the blog will even more useful a record.

That said, however, there doesn't appear to be many entries related to the material covered in the Introduction to Critical Games Studies module: if you look back over your notes from the last few weeks you'll see that several of the sessions have a related blog task (for example, in week two, the blog task asked you to identify games that correspond with Caillois' games categories; the blog task associated with the library resources session asked you compile a short bibliography).

Do, please, look back over your notes and ensure that the blog is complete in terms of the topics covered on the Introduction to Critical Games Studies module.
